I am pet free for the first time in 30 years. I thought I would hate it but I don't. I don't know if the time will ever come when I want a pet again. Maybe, if I can afford a pet valet for cleaning up the messes.
Ooh, I like Quilly's idea for a pet valet. Though I would probably be too embarrassed to hire someone else to clean up my dog's mess. The kids love our dog, and I love him some/most/part of the time, but I'm not sure how excited I will be to get another pet after he dies. I feel your pain with the mess. I've been there.
Quilly...Pet valet wow that is a great idea. If only. Truly, when we first moved back here we owned a golden retriever. In my eyes, he was the most special dog I have ever had in my life and as much as I try not to do it, I end up expecting our other pets to be the same way. I want to have a dog again but I know I am just not ready.Jennifer...Having a dog in a family is so great. I think it is all part of the memories of growing up. Of course that statement comes from the biased background of ME who has always had a dog. What kind of dog do you have?
Jules it's hearing stories like that which make me so glad that I have a cat. She is adorable, cuddly, but also very clean!
Mima...we have had a couple of cats over time and I must admit they sure are alot easier to care for. If only they weren't so independent.haa haa....isnt their an animal that could give me all the satisfaction I need, only when I need it? Talk about self indulgence.
