Don't Open That Door.....

Have you seen the movie Daddy Day Care? Here is the movie trailer to refresh your memory...

Now that it is fresh in your mind, recall the one scene where the little boy comes out of the bathroom. Eddie Murphy peeks his head in to see what happened there and you see the different levels of horror and shock cross his face while the music from Psycho plays in the background.

That mental image will give you a pretty accurate idea of what the cute little dog did in the bathroom. We had put her in there while we went to the barn to muck the stall of the horse also belonging to our friends who are gone this week.

Yeah, after cleaning the stall of a strapping big horse, cleaning our bathroom from top to bottom, and then bathing the cute little dog that was covered in mess........what amount of money is worth all of that?

  1. I am pet free for the first time in 30 years. I thought I would hate it but I don't. I don't know if the time will ever come when I want a pet again. Maybe, if I can afford a pet valet for cleaning up the messes.

  2. Ooh, I like Quilly's idea for a pet valet. Though I would probably be too embarrassed to hire someone else to clean up my dog's mess.

The kids love our dog, and I love him some/most/part of the time, but I'm not sure how excited I will be to get another pet after he dies.

I feel your pain with the mess. I've been there.

  3. Quilly...Pet valet wow that is a great idea. If only.
Truly, when we first moved back here we owned a golden retriever. In my eyes, he was the most special dog I have ever had in my life and as much as I try not to do it, I end up expecting our other pets to be the same way. I want to have a dog again but I know I am just not ready.

Jennifer...Having a dog in a family is so great. I think it is all part of the memories of growing up. Of course that statement comes from the biased background of ME who has always had a dog.
What kind of dog do you have?

  4. Jules it's hearing stories like that which make me so glad that I have a cat. She is adorable, cuddly, but also very clean!

  5. Mima...we have had a couple of cats over time and I must admit they sure are alot easier to care for. If only they weren't so independent.

    Talk about self indulgence.
