ReplyDeleteto answer your inquiry, yes, i only post photos on the blog you know and haiku/haiga on the other one in my profile.
but i have another blog with a different profile where i occasionally post some silliness :)
if you happen to be interested, here is the link (but don't feel obliged to visit if you don't want to)
I am glad you took the tag well. I am not really vindictive. You could have ignored it with no ill will. Have you been to Dr. John's blog to see what he did with his tag? Check the sidebar.
ReplyDeleteAnd Polona -- the commenter above -- has been an online friend of mine for quite some time now, but I didn't really get to know her until I visited her alternate blog. There she comes alive.
it's always fun to learn new things about my blogging friends...makes the world seem a little smaller somehow...thanks for sharing so much of yourself Jules ~
ReplyDeletehave a fun weekend ~
Jules its always good to find out more, but I'm going to do a duck on taking it on myself, hope that you don't mind. I am determined to spend some time today trying to catch up with things!! I love that you share a birthday with your Mum, it must make it a really special day.
ReplyDeleteI love this meme, I am going to do it straight away, I will remember your birthday forever.
ReplyDeleteHi Jules,
ReplyDeleteSorry this is off-post, but I heard you loud and clear when you left this comment on my blog: ``that is a great lesson. Sigh....in a couple of years I can get a nice camera and start really applying all of the wonderful things you teach.''
Can I just say that you don't need a $10,000 computer to write good prose, so you don't need an expensive camera to take decent shots. Some of my most treasured images were taken with cheap Instamatics. I'll do a special post for you on this subject.
There is a great compact camera that I would recommend - the Pentax Optio S10. It's about $220 retail here in Australia, so it'd be about $200-$210 in the US. It's very versatile, very small, has a good macro and several modes. Let me know what you think.
Polona...thank you for pointing me to your other blog. I have indeed been enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteQuilly...I'll have to go take a look.
Smiles and sunshine your way dear Joni friend
Mima...no worries my friend on not participating. I never want anyone to feel pressure.
Yes sharing my birthday with my mom (and her dad too) is such a thrill. It is a huge highlight of our December.
Kitem...I loved reading your meme. You are such a special joy.
David...I am blushing with embarassment over my spiraling comment. Thank you for being such a good friend and encourager. You are right that it doesn't take big money to produce satisfaction and quality. I appreciate your words of wisdom and look forward to what you post.
