Wares To Sell....

I have a smirk on my face right now as I have an image from My Fair Lady with all of the street vendors selling their wares to the public.

Okay, so here are some pictures of the things I have been working on. I have been hard at work, even dreaming of designs in my sleep, but now that I am looking at the pictures I am thinking, "gosh is this all?" No, there is much more to do. This is just the beginning and hopefully a start at a good launch.

You can't really tell in these photos but the flower and bumblebee above and the frog and girls below are raised for a pop up effect. There is also a touch of glitter here and there. I like glitter.

I love this Paris set. The French Poodle is one of my favorites. She is so sophisticated that I felt compelled to give her a bit of snazzy glitter too.

These coster sets were really fun and easy. Each is a set of four. I am thinknig that in the fall it might be a nice gift idea to have a cup, coaster, cocoa or tea packet with a biscotti in a basket.

It has been stretching to try and keep in mind not only my personal tastes but also what others might like. Stretching is good.

(edited to link enlargement pictures. Quilly it is the only way I know how to do it right now. I hope this helps.)

  2. Is that all is right!

Why didn't you make the photos enlargeable and where do you sell these? You are leaving out vital info here!

  3. Polona...yes these are what I have been working on. Thank you for your praise. It makes me blush. I have done these things for a long time as gifts and such but never thought I could sell it.

Quilly...My cousin is going to be opening a little store front next month in Boring just off of Hwy26 (do you remember the area?). She is having each one of us in the family who tends to be crafty make things to stock the store. We all do very different things so it will be interesing to see it all together. At this point I don't think they are doing a website or anything.
While not wanting to compromise my blogger friends, I have thought about running pictures of my things to sell on my side bar. I haven't found anything in the blogger guidelines that says no to that. But I don't want to be tacky or make people feel any pressure either.
As for being able to enlarge the pictures....that is a trick I haven't learned yet. Blush on my face.

  7. well aren't these just the cutest!! You have a talent dear. I've seen other bloggers sell things they make and then there is that etsy link I have seen...I certainly wouldn't feel pressured! I would visit your blog if you were selling real estate! Personally, I enjoy seeing all of the creativity everyone is capable of...keep sharing...do you have anything with dragonflies? :)

Jennifer...thank you so much. You know,I was about to say that those are my favorites as well but I think it all depends on my mood. Sometimes I really like the cutsy ones and sometimes I fall head long for the dainty elegant.

Jeff...My hubby can really relate. I think he has given up on saying "are you going to get some sleep tonight?"

it's a community of crafters that promote handmade goodies to buy and sell...and you can post a link right on to your blog! 15. Blogger doesn't have rules against selling. Wordpress does. That's why I'll be moving my blog soon.
